The Skopje Turkish Theater was founded in 1950. It is supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of North Macedonia. It is the first and only state-supported theater in the Balkans and Europe that produces Turkish-language plays. It has garnered great admiration and recognition on the international stage.
